I first began on this path of becoming an Eyelash Technician 12 years ago. When I was in my teenage years I would always wear the stick on lashes, and my friends would always ask for help applying theirs. When eyelash extensions became an actual service, I KNEW it would be something I’d be good at. The passion was already there!At the time my children were very little. My newborn baby had just been diagnosed with a rare chromosome duplication, and I needed to find something I could do from home with very flexible hours.After 12 years I am still as madly in love with it as I was when I started. To make women look and feel beautiful, to build relationships with your clients, to offer a safe space and an open ear, doing something that you love, it’s a dream!!9 years ago I decided to add to my skills and flew to Calgary to attend Biotouch’s Permanent Makeup Technician course. Once tried not to be intimated by such an intricate and important procedure. Being a perfectionist it took awhile to get my bearings in the PMU industry. To be trusted with someone’s face is such a huge honor and not something I take lightly . Fast forward a couple of years later I then decided to further my brow training with Kirstin at Kharma. Learning the powder/combination technique.
